How have you managed to grow to quickly as a one woman business?
Working really hard, getting my brand known as much as possible through networking and standing behind amazing work and great customer service.
What are 3 valuable lessons about business would you hope to pass onto young women considering becoming an entrepreneur?
- Be patient, and be consistent.
- Don’t give up after the first bump, there will be plenty.
- Not all clients are a good match, learn how to say no.
( I say these 3 to myself everyday, LOL)
Where do you place boundaries around how you manage your company, to ensure that you can maintain consistent quality without getting burnt out?
DAYS OFF. Days of resting, and having business hours, even though you might be available, that email can wait to be responded on Monday.
What are you most excited about for the future of your business?
Growth! It’s taking me quite a bit of work, but I know it will be worth once the next level is hit.
You play a large role in supporting the entrepreneurial community, like serving as a sponsor for Hatch This. Why do you think it’s so important to be involved in the startup scene?
It’s extremely important to the upcoming businesses to keep high standards on the quality of work they do and how they present themselves to the world. A well branded business, it’s a well respected business, investing in your business helps it be successful and understanding the value of paying a professional to do you marketing materials and your marketing pays off and makes every business much more successful.
